God provides us with unexpected blessings. He blesses us because He loves us, not for any other reason. Over the past several months, I have received several unexpected blessings. Once, I received a $160 check in the mail from my optometrist. A few weeks later, I was blessed with an unexpected airline upgrade. The Holy Spirit leads, and He has been leading me to share this testimony. I was stressing over securing airline tickets for a trip I was planning for later this summer. I had been tracking flight prices, and they were continually climbing as the summer months approached. I finally decided (led by the Holy Spirit) to use Expedia to book my flight instead of booking through the airlines. As I was checking out, I noticed a button that said Upgrade for $28. I really did not want to spend any more for my ticket because it was already more than I wanted to pay, but I took a leap of faith and clicked on the button to see what I was getting for $28. Well, to my surprise, for $28 I got an upgrade to 1st class ($300), including 2 free checked bags ($75), a savings of $347. God has a way of surprising us with blessings even when we are not expecting them.
If you are stressed, take a moment to thank God for unexpected blessings and be ready to receive. Listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Do not rush into your plans, but wait for the prompting from the Holy Spirit, then obey without delay.
