This week, I want to extend an invitation for you to focus on God’s Covenant of Love for his people. God’s love for humanity is characterized by personal relationship, covenant faithfulness, and redemptive action. Genesis 1:27 establishes that humans are created “in the image of God,” setting them apart from the rest of creation with unique 
dignity and purpose. This divine image-bearing creates the foundation for a personal relationship between God and humanity that doesn’t exist with other aspects of creation.
The covenant relationship God establishes with humanity demonstrates His committed love. From His promises to Abraham through the new covenant in Christ’s blood, God binds Himself to humanity through unbreakable promises. Jeremiah 31:3 captures this: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”
