God is a covenant keeper. He never wavers in His promises. He is the same God; He changes not. God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind.
Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? (Numbers 23:19)
Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? (Numbers 23:19)
My dear friend Delphine shared this, and I pray it will resonate and encourage those of you who may be experiencing seasons of doubt. Trust God, the covenant keeper.
“I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered.”
Violate is to break or fail to comply with (a rule or a formal agreement.) A covenant is defined as a binding and solemn agreement. Alter is to make a change from the original.
God said that He would not break or fail to comply with the binding and solemn agreement that he made with us, and neither would he take back or change anything that he said that he would do. In other words, if he said it, it is so!
Find scriptures that resonate with every facet of your life and stand on them. Don’t let the devil, people, or circumstances talk you out of believing all of the Word of God. Hold on to every promise as though your life depends on it, because it does. Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and whatever you say is so because everything He said was/is so.
If He did it before, He’ll do it again. Same God right now is the same God back then. He will never change.
