God put Eternity in our hearts. There is no time like the present time to start searching for your divine purpose. Take a few moments today to think about God’s plan and call on your life. We are called and appointed to a God-given assignment. Even when we think that time is not on our side; we can be assured that eternity is. Psalm 139:14 states, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
God took the time to put every piece needed inside of us so that we can complete the work He has for us. Furthermore, Jeremiah 1:5 declares, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Isn’t it great to know that He thought about us and decided what our assignment on earth would entail? Not only did He form us; He set us apart (sanctified us). We are the Ecclesia, “the called-out ones”. We have been separated with a purpose in mind. Do you realize that God called and ordained us in eternity, not time? He called us and set us apart even before the foundation of the world. We should be excited about this.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 tells us, “He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.” He gave us a gift which is everlasting. Just as He called and ordained us in eternity, He put that same eternity in our hearts to remind us of His divine calling on our lives.
