Healed and Whole: Forever Settled

I am Healed and Whole. Healing is part of our divine covenant with God. Exactly 2 years ago to the day,  I did a series on healing. It’s time to revisit this topic as we should keep this in the forefront. God is a healing God. In Him we have healing. God has already made a way of escape from any and every sickness which may be moving through this realm attacking whoever it wants to devour; just like our enemy the devil who sneaks around looking for someone who is unprotected to devour (1 Peter 5:8). In Him we have the power to overcome all those arrows flying our way.

One of the names of God is Jehovah Rapha (God my healer). Rapha means to heal (both figurative and literal healing), to make whole, to restore to normal (restore health), to cure, to repair. Rophe (one who heals) is the Hebrew word used of physicians in Jeremiah 8:22; 2 Chronicles 16:12; and Job 13:4. Rapha in verb form means quite literally “to heal of hurts.” In the figurative sense, God heals the hurts of the nation, which indicates restored favor and forgiveness. Right now, today, the hurts of this nation are great. Not just the sickness that is invading our land but the people need hope. We need to pray this over America daily, especially in this current season.

Remember in Exodus 15:26 God declared, He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, obeying His commands and keeping all His decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.” He sent His Word (which still functions today as it always has), to heal and deliver us. The Word does not change as we travel through the centuries. Psalm 119:89 declares the Word of God is forever settled in heaven; it is eternal. God gave us His Word to guide us through adversity. Pray the Word, for in Him and through Him we are Healed.

The Word is medicine; do you take it once and say oh, I guess it did not work. No, you take it as directed by your doctor. The same is true with the Word, Dr. Jesus said take your medicine, the Word. Say what the Word has to say about healing. We need to be taking an overdose of the Word, especially those pertaining to healing.
1. I am the healed of the Lord (I Peter 2:24)
2. No weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17)
3. He sent His Word and Healed me. (Psalm 107:20, Jeremiah 30:17)
4. No plague shall come near me. (Psalm 91)…Read the entire chapter
5. By His stripes I am healed (Isaiah 53:5)

When I pray for healing for myself my confession is always,Everything which tries to attach itself to my body must instantly die! I declare and decree that I am healed and whole!” If you need healing today, ask Jehovah Rapha to heal you. Ask in faith, without doubt knowing that in Him, He is true to His Word and will always act to perform it.  If you are looking for some powerful healing prayers, check out my book, Praying Through the Pandemic.
