Lies, self-doubts, and other words are being spoken against you from the enemy. Take courage. The enemy is trying to discourage you from fulfilling your calling. Let me offer you some encouragement. Although things look bad, from your perspective, take another look. Start to see things from God’s perspective. The last couple of years have been rough for a lot of people. Let’s be honest. How many of you are in worst shape now than you were at the beginning of the pandemic? How many of you lost jobs, loved ones, friends, homes, etc. How many of you have been told by the doctors that you may not live to see the new year or that some disease is raging through your body? The list could go on and on but take courage. All is not as it seems. God has been working in the background and is about to reveal a few things to you. He has kept things hidden until now.
Just when the enemy thought he was about to knock you out for good, God is about to step in. The enemy has been lying to you. How do I know this? According to John 8:44, “He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.” Case closed; DO NOT LISTEN TO HIM. He is the author of all of your doubts.
God has prepared a new season for you. He heard the cry of your heart and now at this time and in this season, God is breathing new life and new purpose into you. Do not be afraid to step out into this new thing. The Word tells us, God will do a new thing, now it is springing forth. Trust It. Hold firm to it. Never allow the enemy to make you believe the lies he’s been spreading. It’s not over, you simply need to trust God.
You do not have the luxury of self-doubts. Move ahead with what God has called you to do. Toss those doubts away and keep moving forward. Jesus encourages us with these words from John 14, “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
The struggle is REAL, I know. But take a second look at the struggle through the lens of God’s Word. Grab ahold of it and let it move you forward into your new season. Begin the decree and declare what the Word says about you, not the lies the enemy is spreading. Declare you are who God says you are: the healed, the loved, the prosperous, and the blessed. He is the God of the peaks and the valleys, the sky above and the land below, and He will take you safety on this journey (Psalm 95:1-5). Trust Him!
