Not every battle is your battle. The Word tells us that God will fight our battles for us (Exodus 14:14). That’s not the battle I am referencing here. Some of you are fighting the wrong battle. You have gotten off course. You left the path God created for you, and now you are trying to win battles and break down doors that serve no purpose (Psalm 119:1 [MSG]). Stop, repent, and get back on track. Your battle is in the other direction. You are stagnant and beaten down because you are trying to fight and win an unwinnable battle.
You were never supposed to go up against that giant. That’s why you can’t find any stones. That’s why your sword is ineffective; its blade is too dull. You are trying to kill the wrong enemy. God never told you to go after that prize. He never said pursue and overtake that enemy so you can collect the spoils (1 Samuel 30:8); no, He told you not to go, but you disobeyed and went anyway (Acts 16:6). That is not your mountain to conquer. When you get back on track, you will realize that you are thriving instead of striving. Not every battle is yours to fight.
