God gave Eve another Word concerning this posting. Please see below:
The Lord impressed me to update this blog post.
Isaiah 46:4 (TPT) – “Even as you grow old and your hair turns gray, I’ll keep carrying you!
I am your Maker and your Caregiver. I will carry you and be your Savior.”
Prayer: Father, thank you for taking care of me even when I failed to care for myself. I admit that I slack at doing my part and I take full responsibility for my actions. I promise not to be a heavy load as You carry me, and I will do a better job at caring for myself so that I live a long, prosperous, and healthy life. In Jesus name, amen.
The lesson today reminded me of what the Holy Spirit said to me when I took the second look at this picture of me walking backwards on the beach for exercise a couple of weeks after brain surgery.
The light you see after my steps is not water, I was no where near the water that day and was walking backwards on hard sand near the dunes. This picture actually shows the light of God and the Lord said, “MY Word is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path – I have been and I AM carrying you through this” (Psalm 119:105).
He said, “I’VE GOT YOU, EVE”. I literally know what the message today really means. GUESS WHAT? GOD’S GOT YOU TOO!!! TRUST, LEAN ON, PRESS INTO HIM, RELY SOLEY ON HIM BECAUSE HE CARES FOR YOU – HE’S GOT YOU!
Previous post: God’s Word is the Lamp and the Light in you, for you and others you interact with daily. I want you to look at the two pictures below very closely.
In the first picture, I was walking backward on the beach on February 23, 2019, and I was nowhere near the ocean or water because there was low tide.
When I saw these pictures and looked closer where I had stepped there was LIGHT and it looked like water, but the ground I was walking on was dry, no water at all.
I could hear the Holy Spirit say, ‘God is with us carrying us, ordering our steps and establishing our thoughts. His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths’ (Psalm 119:105).
As born again believers, we are the Light of the world and His Light/Word/Lamp in you should not and cannot be hidden. If we would allow the Lamp of His Word shine in us and through us, it will fill us with His Light. Luke 11:33-36 tells us about the parable of the light. This Light should impact the lives of everyone we encounter. We need to be saturated in the Word of God, the Light of God and the Lamp of God daily! We must trust God in all things knowing He’s got you and is carrying you and there is nothing that can pluck us out of His hands (John 10: 28-30).
Continue to be the Light, the Lamp, and the Word of God and let your Light so shine before men daily (Matthew 5:16).
Hope you enjoyed this encouraging word from guest blogger, Eve Perry. Look for more from Eve in the future. She has a powerful story to tell. Be the Light and please share to encourage others.
