Anger: From Pain to Purpose

Anger is a real and powerful emotion. It often rises from deep places—wounds, disappointment, betrayal, and unresolved trauma. At times, anger can serve a purpose. It can alert us to injustice, push us to set boundaries, and even motivate change. But the question we must ask ourselves is this: Is the anger you’re carrying today helping you move forward, or is it keeping you stuck? Unresolved anger has a way of anchoring us to the past. It replays old conversations, reopens healed wounds, and distorts how we see present opportunities. What once may have protected you can begin to limit Read More

Is Your Life an Offering?

There is a kind of faith that sits comfortably in the pew on Sunday mornings and never costs a thing. And then there is the faith the Bible actually calls us to — one that lays everything on the altar and holds nothing back. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God — this is your true and proper worship.” –Romans 12:1 Paul’s word choice here is striking. Not a dead sacrifice — a living one. The animal placed on the Old Testament altar had Read More

Born with a Purpose: Teaching Your Child to Seek God’s Assignment

“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].”— Ephesians 2:10  From the time children are old enough to talk, adults ask them the same familiar question: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” It’s a well-meaning question — but it’s the wrong one. It points a Read More

The Power of Decision

Your life transforms the moment you make a genuine decision about your future. Until you clearly define where you want to go, you’ll remain exactly where you are. This isn’t mere positive thinking—it’s a biblical principle woven throughout Scripture. “Choose this day whom you will serve” (Joshua 24:15). Joshua didn’t suggest the Israelites think about it or wait for perfect circumstances. He called them to decide. Decision precedes transformation. Move With Intention Once you’ve decided your destination, move toward it with purpose and conviction. Vague hopes produce vague results, but clear goals pursued with determination create momentum. Paul didn’t passively Read More

The Journey of Becoming: Getting Unstuck in 2026

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6 This past year, God has been speaking a consistent message: you are in process. You are appointed, anointed, and still becoming. The journey of transformation isn’t always comfortable, but it’s always purposeful. As we reflect on the themes that emerged throughout 2025, we see God’s faithful hand guiding, shaping, and empowering His people for their next season. As I sat with the Lord and we talked about last year and the coming Read More

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6

This past year, God has been speaking a consistent message: you are in process. You are appointed, anointed, and still becoming. The journey of transformation isn’t always comfortable, but it’s always purposeful. As we reflect on the themes that emerged throughout 2025, we see God’s faithful hand guiding, shaping, and empowering His people for their next season.

As I sat with the Lord and we talked about last year and the coming year, I asked Him, “What are your people most concerned about in the coming year?” He said, “They are feeling stuck.”  This past year, many have experienced sudden shifts in their seasons. Doors that seemed certain have slammed shut. Financial provision that felt secure has been canceled. Relationships that appeared stable have fractured. Health challenges have emerged without warning. Dreams that seemed within reach have suddenly felt impossibly distant. He said, “My people, they don’t know how to move forward.”

When we feel stuck, we need to remember that God already has a plan for 2026.
Know this:

  • Your struggles are not meaningless
  • Your pain has a purpose
  • Your story matters
  • Your prayers are heard
  • Your breakthrough is coming
  • Your tears are counted
  • Your future is secure

“The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.” — Psalm 34:15.

Beyond Human Understanding: God’s Gift of Wisdom

Job 28:20–28 offers a powerful reminder about the source of true wisdom. In the midst of deep suffering, Job reflects on humanity’s ability to uncover the earth’s treasures—yet acknowledges that true wisdom cannot be found through human effort alone. It belongs to God and is revealed to those who fear Him. Wisdom begins not with knowledge or achievement, but with a reverent heart that seeks and trusts the Lord. Just as a flower begins with a seed hidden beneath the soil, Godly wisdom begins in the quiet place of reverence—the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. At first, there Read More
