Manifesting: Four Phases of Spiritual Birthing

Manifesting means to make clear or evident to the eye or the understanding. Are you longing for a change? Are you sensing a change in the Spirit? God is giving us those desires we have been praying about. You are on the cusp of giving birth, manifesting that dream within you. Manifesting or spiritual birthing can be difficult. A woman about to give birth is in labor. Manifesting is labor-intensive. Several of us find ourselves in this phase of our lives. We are trying to birth a baby that God put within us. Well, get ready. That baby (vision) is about to manifest (1 Timothy 6:20).

manifestingHere are four phases of MANIFESTING (Spiritual birthing):

  1. Pain: As with natural birth, a supernatural birth will produce pain. The manifestation of your vision will not be easy. Prepare yourself. War and pain will always accompany the birth of a miracle (1 Peter 5:8-9).
  2. Position: You will need to position yourself correctly to give birth. Some women give birth lying down, some on their knees, others squatting. To birth your vision, you need to be positioned for optimal delivery. The place where your vision is birthed is geographical (1 Kings 17:9). Ask the Holy Spirit to direct your steps (Proverbs 16:9). Jesus went to the cross on Golgotha (Mark 15:22) and sent His disciples to the Upper room in Jerusalem (Acts 1:4). Find the place to birth your miracle.
  3. Partnerships: God does not want you to do this alone. He gives us partners to aid us on this journey. Find out whom God has sent on this journey to pray with you and pray for you. He sent Elisha to the Naaman (2 Kings 5:6), David to Saul (1 Samuel 16:21), and Timothy to Paul (Acts 16:1-5).
  4. Possession: Take possession of this manifestation. If we do not act quickly, the enemy will sneak in and take it from us. Remember the parable of the sower (Matthew 13:19). Cover it in prayer and commit it to the Father (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

Expect your vision to manifest. Guard your heart. Talk and live like your vision has already come to pass. Trust God even when you don’t understand. He is the God of vision and purpose.
