Compromise has entered the church. The door was opened and the enemy walked right in without the slightest bit of resistance. When the church starts relationships with those organizations outside of the church, be careful who you dip with( make a covenant/or break bread with). When the enemy cannot curse and crush the church, he seeks to corrupt it through compromise. I started a new book recently and as part of my research, I studied Revelation Chapters 2 and 3 about the Seven Churches and the message for each church. God gave encouraging words and He gave words of warning. He admonished them towards repentance.
Some of you are wondering what compromise entered the church. The compromise of the spirit of racism. It entered through groups claiming to be Christian when in reality these organizations are clothed in the demonic. They were claiming to be sheep and slipped in, but they are wolves. The church was so busy trying to defy the government and stand up for their assumed right to do whatever they wanted to do during the pandemic that they let down their guard and opened their doors to demonic spirits. I heard God say, “Tell My people to JUST STOP IT!!” Repent!!
Therefore STOP:
- Putting political rhetoric and the Constitution on the same level or even above the Bible. The US Constitution IS NOT the Bible, the infallible Word of God! God’s word should govern your thoughts and actions. The church cannot proclaim one thing and live out another. Repent!
- Letting Nationalism (Christian) dictate how we treat people. When churches started letting these groups into their congregations to teach, preach, and spread their racist agenda the church lost credibility. We cannot be one body if we allow racism into our pews. Christian nationalism takes the name of Christ and uses it for a worldly political agenda; thus proclaiming that its program is the political program for every true believer. That is very, very, wrong no matter what the agenda may be because only the church is authorized to proclaim the name of Jesus and carry His standard into the world. These groups espouse a racist agenda and the church needs to do its research before allowing them access to its people. Notably, the Health and Freedom Conference which drew thousands of Christians to their meeting is part of the Christian Nationalist movement. Want to know more about these groups? Please do your research. Repent!
- Ignoring the cries of the poor, aliens, and immigrants. The Bible clearly states how to treat strangers and aliens. Leviticus 19:34 tells us, “But the stranger who resides with you shall be to you like someone native-born among you; and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt; I am the Lord your God.” Zechariah 7:9-10 also admonishes us to “Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion, to each other; and do not oppress or exploit the widow or the fatherless, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise or even imagine evil in your hearts against one another.” Kidnapping people and putting them on a plane or bus is criminal, not Christian. Anyone who practices such behaviors needs to be arrested, not applauded. Repent!
In conclusion, we need to BE THE CHURCH, not some lukewarm, barely recognized version of Christ. Paul said it best in Galatians 3:28, “There is [now no distinction in regard to salvation] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you [who believe] are all one in Christ Jesus [no one can claim a spiritual superiority].” STOP COMPROMISING!!
