Part 1 – Supernatural Provision: Trust God in the Lean Times

We have to learn to TRUST God in times of famine and times of plenty. Lean times are defined as a time when there is not enough. A time when there are shortages of food and finances. Supernatural provision is not the norm for most people; however,  it is very possible. So when does God provide for you supernaturally? Is it when you have a need? Is it when you spend hours crying and complaining about what you do not have? No. God responds to FAITH, not need. Take a look at Exodus 16. God sent manna from heaven each day Read More

It Is Well With My Soul!

My thoughts today dwell on the hymn, It Is Well With My Soul. It’s my 62nd birthday. A great day to celebrate my life and all the wonderful things God has done for me. I recently completed a scripture garden in my backyard. It’s filled with plants, stones, an angel statue and a welcome garden flag. The majority of the stones in this garden have scripture printed on them. Some single scriptures like Mark 11:23-24, others are combined in groups to create the basic theme of the scripture, Galatians 5:22-23 (Fruits of the Spirit). One of the stones I created Read More

Healing: It’s Part of Our Divine Covenant

Healing is part of our covenant with God. We were healed by His stripes. Notice the ‘were’; it’s already done.  From the Old Testament and throughout the New Testament God continually reveals to us His plan for us to be whole.  I have a few friends who are in need of healing and I pray for them daily. Some of them know they are already healed, others need a reminder of what Jesus did for us on the cross. God’s plan of Salvation: Sozo means to save, to deliver or protect (literally or figuratively):—heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole. God Read More

Praise and Faith: Secrets to Answered Prayer

Praise, thanksgiving, and faith are keys to answered prayer. If you want to receive answers to your prayers be sure to: 1. Praise Him and Thank Him. As we read the Lord’s Prayer we observe Jesus teaching the disciples to begin their prayer with PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING. Psalm 100:4 states, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.” Begin by praising and thanking Him for being your provider (Jehovah Jireh); your peace (Jehovah Shalom); your healer (Jehovah Rophe); your shepherd (Jehovah Rohi); and your righteousness (Jehovah Tsidkenu). Praise creates an Read More

Offenses: Stop Talking and Pursue Peace

Over the past few weeks, I heard the Holy Spirit say, ‘People are in agreement with the wrong spirit and are taking on the offenses of others.’ The Holy Spirit said ‘Stop’, right now. Stop it. Not long ago my pastor taught a sermon on taking on offenses. If someone does something to another person, we are not to take on that offense. It did not happen to us. Sure we can empathize with others, but we are not to take on their offense. I know sometimes that is hard because we all want to make sure people are being Read More

Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One!

Shema! Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One! (). Can you believe we are already into August 2017? It seems like yesterday that I started Inspiration Flows; it has been over a year ago. This was the first post on Inspiration Flows and I thought in celebration of my blog birthday I would repost it. Being reminded to hear, listen and obey God is always a good thing.  Have you ever been somewhere and thought, it’s so noisy in here I can’t even think? Would you like to know how to live above the noise? There are Read More
