The Journey of Becoming: Getting Unstuck in 2026

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6 This past year, God has been speaking a consistent message: you are in process. “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6

This past year, God has been speaking a consistent message: you are in process. You are appointed, anointed, and still becoming. The journey of transformation isn’t always comfortable, but it’s always purposeful. As we reflect on the themes that emerged throughout 2025, we see God’s faithful hand guiding, shaping, and empowering His people for their next season.

As I sat with the Lord and we talked about last year and the coming year, I asked Him, “What are your people most concerned about in the coming year?” He said, “They are feeling stuck.”  This past year, many have experienced sudden shifts in their seasons. Doors that seemed certain have slammed shut. Financial provision that felt secure has been canceled. Relationships that appeared stable have fractured. Health challenges have emerged without warning. Dreams that seemed within reach have suddenly felt impossibly distant. He said, “My people, they don’t know how to move forward.”

When we feel stuck, we need to remember that God already has a plan for 2026.
Know this:

  • Your struggles are not meaningless
  • Your pain has a purpose
  • Your story matters
  • Your prayers are heard
  • Your breakthrough is coming
  • Your tears are counted
  • Your future is secure

“The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.” — Psalm 34:15.

The Relationship Between Vision, Decision, and Spiritual Growth

Spiritual growth requires both the clarity of purpose (vision) and the commitment to take actionable steps (decision). The combination of these elements allows us to move forward in our walk with God, deepening our faith and fulfilling His purpose for our lives. Vision in Spiritual Growth Scripture: Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God]. (Proverbs 29:18)  For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and Read More

Vision Must Be Followed By Decisions

Having a vision is important if you want to continue to grow spiritually, professionally, and personally in the new year. However, you can never fulfill your vision without making a decision. The four lepers in 2 Kings 7:3-4 had a vision of survival. They made a decision to venture out of their comfort zone and find food. Having a vision and not making a decision is basically the same as not having a vision at all. Here are four correlations between vision and decision based on the story of the four lepers in 2 Kings 7:3-4: 1. Vision clarifies the Read More

Mindset Mondays: The Power of Vision

Do you understand the power of vision? Vision has the power to propel you from your perceived path into your ordained destiny. In 2 Kings 7, the four lepers at the gate had a moment of clarity. They looked into their future and saw the outcomes of their choices. Have you ever had a moment when your path became so clear that you realized you had stepped into your destiny? I have those moments when I start writing a new book or when I work with my clients on transformation. My path is clear, and I know and understand my Read More

Alignment: In Pursuit of Purpose

Alignment is important when you are in pursuit of purpose. There are places God has called you to go and people He has called you to meet. We must have the determination to be in alignment with God’s purpose and plan. Where are you? Are you in alignment with God’s plan and purpose for your life? Are you reaching for those things that are aligned with your purpose? Do you have a clear vision of where God wants you to be?  God sent Elijah to the brook (1 Kings 17:3), Namaan to the river (2 Kings 5:10), Joseph to the Read More
