Alignment: In Pursuit of Purpose

Alignment is important when you are in pursuit of purpose. There are places God has called you to go and people He has called you to meet. We must have the determination to be in alignment with God’s purpose and plan. Where are you? Are you in alignment with God’s plan and purpose for your life? Are you reaching for those things that are aligned with your purpose? Do you have a clear vision of where God wants you to be?

God sent Elijah to the brook (1 Kings 17:3), Namaan to the river (2 Kings 5:10), Joseph to the palace (Genesis 41:39-41) and David to meet Goliath (1 Samuel 17:37). Where is God sending you and who is He sending you to meet? Stay focused on God’s plan, not your own.

If the enemy can keep you distracted, cloud your vision so you can’t discern your purpose, and silence your voice, he can keep you in bondage forever. You will never be in alignment with God’s purpose. Not sure where you should be? Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you.

The enemy’s plan is to distract you from your purpose. He will send you on a journey that may look like God’s direction or send you to meet people who claim they were sent from God. Use discernment and stay the course. “If you leave God’s paths and go astray, you will hear a voice behind you say, “No, this is the way; walk here.” – Isaiah 30:21
