Transformation happens when we pursue the God of Light. In Genesis 1, the Spirit of God was hovering over an ocean of darkness. This landscape needed transformation. God did not leave it in that form; He provided light. He will not leave you in darkness if it’s light that you desire. He is the God of light.
1 John 1:5 tells us, “God is Light [He is holy, His message is truthful, He is perfect in righteousness], and in Him there is no darkness…”
