Contemplating: 2021 in Review

Contemplating means to think profoundly and at length, to meditate. I have been contemplating the top five events of 2021 in my life. I have completed so many things which at some point I thought were not possible, but with God, all contemplatingthings are possible (Matthew 19:26). God is the author and finisher of my faith journey (Hebrews 12:2). Here are my top five 2021 moments in review.

  1. Retired: Semi
  2. Wrote and published three books:
  3. Started working at Oral Roberts University as a Faculty Librarian
  4. Started teaching others how to publish their books
  5. Spread the wealth: Started giving more

God gave me certain instructions for 2021. He said to be intentional about what you do. What does that mean? It means to do something with a specific purpose in mind. Not following the crowd, not doing something ‘just because’, but actively, intentionally, and purposefully.  To accomplish this I needed to pay attention to what God was asking me to do.

The year 2021 is now in the past, there is nothing that can be done in that year. I am moving on the 2022 and being intentional about obeying God in the months to come. Join me in making a commitment to trust God with your love walk and your faith journey. Trust Him to bring all those things to pass which He promised you (Ephesians 3:20-21). Happy New Year.
