New perspective during this season. Seasons change (Daniel 2:21; Ecclesiastes 3:1-11) and so we should be ready to change with them. This change should not be based on what we feel or what others are saying. It should be based on what we hear from God. We need to (Shema) listen and obey (Deuteronomy 6:4). A little over two years ago, November 2017, a Tuesday morning at 12:30 am, the Holy Ghost woke me and told me to grab a pen and paper. He had something He wanted to impart. When the Holy Ghost talks, I listen and obey. Most Read More

Hear and Obey:What Did the Deaf Man Hear?
God wants us to hear and obey. In other words ‘Shema’. There is a Hallmark movie called, What the Deaf Man Heard. The premise of the story is that a young man pretended to be deaf when he actually heard everything that was being said around him. He knew all of the town’s secrets. God does not want us to be like the supposedly deaf man; He wants us to truly hear Him and obey Him. When God Read More
Obedience: Better than Sacrifice
Obedience is crucial. So because you have rejected the command of the Lord, He has rejected you as king’.” In this verse Saul was rejected as king because he failed to utterly destroy the Read More
Survival Strategies: Listening (Get Understanding)
My number two survival strategy is listening. You can play all the music, read all the Word, and pray all the time; however, if you never stop to listen to the voice of God, you have already lost the battle. God speaks and He expects us to listen. Sometimes we are so caught up in the problem we forget to listen for the solution. We try to figure it out on our own, usually making the situation worst. I often wonder why people think God listens to our prayers, but we never consider that He also speaks to us. Conversation Read More
Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One!
Shema! Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One! (). Can you believe we are already into August 2017? It seems like yesterday that I started Inspiration Flows; it has been over a year ago. This was the first post on Inspiration Flows and I thought in celebration of my blog birthday I would repost it. Being reminded to hear, listen and obey God is always a good thing. Have you ever been somewhere and thought, it’s so noisy in here I can’t even think? Would you like to know how to live above the noise? There are Read More
